Dear Valued Customers,
As the COVID-19 situation has evolved, the company has maintained its commitment to provide a safe workplace environment for all its employees. Because we are permitted to continue business operations, we have focused on taking all appropriate and feasible steps to keep employees safe during working hours. Below is a brief summary of company actions taken in response to COVID-19.
- Any employee experiencing symptoms is required to stay home until health is fully restored.
- Any employee considered at risk is required to stay home.
- Non-essential employees are working remotely.
- We are maintaining a high degree of hygiene and disinfecting standards and have instructed our employees in best practices, as recommended by the CDC and the State of New York.
All ride-withs, sales meetings, and large events have been postponed or moved to videoconferencing. Our sales team is instructed to conduct their routes efficiently. Additionally, we highly encourage our retail partners to engage in Retailer Portal for placing orders and making payments to safely limit the amount of person-to-person contact on a day-to-day basis.
All trucks have been equipped with disinfectant and our drivers have been instructed to wipe down all interior and exterior touchpoints before and after every shift. We are requiring that gloves be worn at all times with our warehouse and delivery teams.
Please prepare to bear with us in the event that we have delivery delays due to staffing shortages. We will do what we can, safely and within reason, to ensure continuity for your business. Ultimately, continuing to provide you with the highest level of service and support during this trying time is one of our most important goals.
