With the help of the Ball Canning corporation, over 38,000 cans of drinking water have been produced and delivered to those in need.

Kansas City – Boulevard Brewing Company today announced that agreements have been signed with Union Beer Distributors and Craft Brewers Guild of New York, and the Kansas City brewer’s distinctive beers will soon be available on shelves and taps throughout New York City. Beginning next month, beer lovers in the Big Apple will be able to enjoy Boulevard’s year-round Smokestack Series, with additional offerings from the brewery’s core lineup to roll out later this summer.

As far as jobs go, Mike Lovullo is living a beer nerd’s dream. As the specialty brands manager at Union Beer Distributors, he gets to spend his day in New York City’s best bars and restaurants, talking about and selling beer. I caught up with him recently at Astoria Bier and Cheese to talk about how he got into the beer business and what it’s like to be a beer distributor.
Where’s The Beer NY: How did you get into this business?
(Comstock, MI) – After a successful rollout in western and upstate New York, Bell’s Brewery, Inc. is happy to announce that Bell’s beer will be coming to New York City beginning Feb. 10, 2014.
Union Beer Distributors, part of the Sheehan Group, will distribute Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, Amber, Kalamazoo Stout, Midwestern Pale Ale, Porter and Oarsman Ale as well as its seasonal line-up within the city as well as on Long Island.
First things first: right now, after the beating that New York City took in Hurricane Sandy, there are things we should be more worried about than beer. Dozen have died, hundreds have lost their homes, and hundreds of thousands are still without power.
